We have wondered off our path to what  is REALLY true, pure, and genuine accepting the patterns of this world of chemicals and drugs which leads to destruction.  Remove the veil from your eyes!  

In First Corinthians we read about our temple (body) and how we should not defile it with abominable things. These substances defile our bodies and interfere with our ability to communicate with God.  He cannot work through us fully, when we are polluted. 

There are over 188 scriptures in the bible that mention using oils as medicine and anointing.  But yet, we close our eyes to this Divine truth.  Why? Because we fear things we do not understand.  And fear is not the Spirit of God.  So let's get educated. 

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..."  (Hosea 4:6)

The same quality of oils used in the biblical times are available here today for our usage...we do not have to conform to World's chemicals and drugs―we do have a choice.  Of course, Satan does not want you to know about this because his JOB is to seek, destroy, and kill; thus FDA forbids natural substances be advertised on TV, and also forbids us to use the 'CURE' word with natural substances.  Wake up and see the truth.

According toDr. Ann Blake Tracy, nothing reaches brain cells faster and begins the body's own healing process better thantherapeutic grade essential oils.  "I discussed Revolution chapter 18, verses 21-24; where it says that... the sorceries that flow out of Babylon will deceive the whole world.  Now when you read what sorcery is, the Greek translation is Pharmacia; which means "medicine from a pharmacy".  It says...The violence produced by those medicine from a pharmacy will destroy Babylon and that many prophets, saints and good menwill die as a result of massive deception that will cover the earth. "

Incense was offered twice daily in the Tabernacle and later in the temple in Jerusalem. In Proverbs 27:9 we are told that "ointment and perfume rejoice the heart." The New Testament suggests that the incense offering represents the prayers of saints. In Revelation 5:8, "four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints," the King James translators chose to translate the Greek word "thumiama" as "odours" rather than "incense." According to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, "thumiama" (Strong's #2368 means "fragrant powder burnt in religious services." (See also Revelation 8:3-4) The ritual use of incense represented God's power over life and death in Numbers 16:46-48 wherein the High Priest Aaron walked through the congregation with it, stopping a deadly plague.

The Ancient History of Essential Oils

Young Living Essential Oils are therapeutic, passing the highest standards of AFNOR and ISO standards; but did you know that essential oils may be the oldest and some of the most powerful healing agents known throughout history. Some scientists believe that essential oils were first used in China or India, while other researchers believe that Egyptians were first to discover the healing properties of essential oils.

The Egyptians created fragrances for personal use as well as for ritualistic and ceremonial use in temples and pyramids. Egyptians and Babylonians used the oils for medicinal purposes long before the individual herbs were studied for medical use. Translations of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics and Chinese manuscripts describe how priests and physicians used essential oils thousands of years before the time of Christ. The precious oils of frankincense, myrrh, galbanum, rosemary, hyssop, cassia, cinnamon, and spikenard were used extensively for anointing and healing the sick.

There are over a hundred references to aromatics in the Bible.  Biblical prophets appear to have recognized that essential oils protected their bodies from disease. Why did the three wise men bring the precious substances of frankincense and myrrh to the Christ child?  Frankincense was well known during the time of Christ for its anointing and healing powers and is now being researched and used therapeutically in European and American hospitals. The Romans fumigated and diffused oils in their temples and political buildings and scented their baths with oils followed by a fragrant oil massage.

The ancient Arabian people began to study the constituent properties of essential oils. They developed and refined the distillation process.  They extracted rose oil and rose water, which were very popular in the Middle East at that time. Kings would barter and buy land, gold and slaves with their crudely extracted oils. The oils were more valuable than gold.

Europeans did not produce essential oils until the 12th century.  During the Medieval plague of the 15 the century, four thieves in Marsilles, France, were able to rob the dead and dying without becoming infected. When finally captured, the men reportedly admitted to creating a concoction that contained 50 cloves and the herb rosemary, along with other aromatics. They rubbed this potion on their hands, ears, and temples. The secret of thieves was made public and the formula was posted in the city.
