Essential Oil Blends for Emotional Health

Part Two

 D. Gary Young

 Emotional Freedom Oils

We welcome you to Training CD #67 from the 2004 Young Living Convention, a highly informative lecture by Gary Young on essential oil blends for emotional health, Part 2.  And now, here is Gary to share this exciting information.

D. Gary Young - About Brain Power

Brain Power contains Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Frankincense, Melissa, Australian Blue Cypress, Lavender,  and Helichrysum.

See the alpha compounds in Cedarwood. All of these compounds are very specific in working on the brain and increasing vascular dilation. “Cedarwood is the highest oil in sesquiterpene activity that exists in our oil chain.”  This is from the Medical Exactamenta France Book. Sesquiterpenes, sesquiterpenols, sesquiterpenones.  There you have 100% of sesquiterpene activity in Cedarwood.  There is no other oil that exceeds it in oxygenating-carrying capacity.

Cedarwood Powerful for Hair Growth

This is also another reason that Cedarwood is so effective as an oil for stimulating hair growth for us guys. The hair follicle loosens and dies and falls out, and that is because of testosterone levels dropping...so you have two things there, but Cedarwood is really powerful for getting that oxygen into the hair follicle if you are massaging the scalp.

It’s very powerful for regenerating arterial walls.  It’s powerful for the lymphatic system for the simple reason that it increases oxygen flow into the fluid and into the blood fluid through the whole body.  It’s really a beautiful oil.  In order to have brain power and great memory recall and great memory retention, you have got to have good oxygen to the brain.  That is really important.

Melissa, (which is second to Cedarwood ) in sesquiterpene activity, is followed by Sandalwood, and Frankincense is fourth.  Australian Blue Cypress (and I don’t have the chromatogram showing that) is equal to Sandalwood in sesquiterpene activity and you can see the high activity in sesquiterpenes with the Sandalwood–67%!  It’s a beautiful oil.

More Merits of Cedarwood

This is one of the oils I mentioned that was tested at Vienna University and showed 28% increase of oxygen around the pituitary gland.  It is so important. It is a decongestant of the lymph system, a cardiatonic, it’s calming to the nerves, great for hemorrhoids.  However, I don’t think it is as great for hemorrhoids as Helichrysum is  along with Cypress, because once you apply that combination to hemorrhoids and when you land, you never have to worry about hemorrhoids again!  Anyway, you see the benefits.

One oil  doesn’t dominate the action of one thing.  It’s multi-phasic and it’s a global action.  Of course, we use Lavender for calming and Helichrysum for chelating and opening those blood vessels to get greater oxygen saturation into the brain.  You want to get those chemicals out of the brain...you can’t increase brain function if it is heavy laden with mercury or lead or arsenic or nickel or cadmium. You’ve got to get that out of the brain.  Some people have brain fatigue and are very heavy laden in the brain with heavy metallics and plasticizers from chemicals and petrochemicals, so  this product not only increases oxygen, but it also stimulates the neurotransmitters in the brain for receptivity and for memory recall.  It helps to bring out and purge those heavy metals out of the brain so you can have your brain awareness and expansion.

Diffusing Brain Power and Clarity

Diffusing Brain Power in your home and office is really exciting!  You can put it with Clarity.  Those are two blends that I really enjoy a lot.  When you see me rubbing my nose just before I come up on stage it’s not because I forgot my hanky; I apply these two oils every time I come on stage just so I can have the memory recall that I need to be able to share with you.  I do not do well with notes...so practice that.

Chivalry - Much Needed in Today’s World

Valor and Joy and Harmony are in Chivalry. Why did I create Chivalry?  It is something that is being lost  and forgotten in our world today.

I have been criticized by some about...why is Gary going into this medieval stuff?  People who criticize or people who choose not to understand why someone does something find it is just easier to criticize.  I don’t do anything in my life without reason for it...because I have a lot of things to do, and I don’t do things frivolously.

Jousting...Symbol of Medieval Awakening

First, when I started jousting I didn’t know that I was going to like it as much as I did, but I started looking at medieval and the reason I wanted to build a medieval theme in the Park is because during that time period our world started reawakening.  It’s also when our essential oils returned back to us.  That is significant for me.  Maybe for anyone else it doesn’t matter, but it is for me because that was the reawakening of a whole new generation of people, and conscious-ness started rising.  That’s when people really started fighting for their freedom.

But what do we do?  We look at the medieval as the era where everybody was out there with sticks and swords killing each other.  Why were they killing each other?  Why are we in Iraq killing people today?  We’re not using a lance...so it’s okay? No, it’s no different.  We are fighting for our freedom and as long as there is a human being on this planet we are going to fight for our freedom.  I feel the freedom that was fought for during those times was a more honorable freedom than what we are fighting for today, so I see the medieval era as one of the greatest periods of time in our history.

An Era of Chivalry

One of the things that was so prevalent in the medieval era was the chivalry that was taught and practiced by the men.  Men would be stretched on the gallows if they were unchivalrous to the ladies or to a squire or to a page...or a young man not showing respect to an elderly person or an adult.  And now our young people are taught to sue and curse and slander their parents and do all kinds of things.  Our children are actually taught these concepts in the schools today, particularly in America.

We don’t have chivalry.  We need to bring it back.  We need to bring back some of those values that existed during the medieval era.

Take the Good and Build on It

That’s why I was building this at the Park, to recreate that which existed that has tremendous value.  There is no time from the beginning of Adam until present that you can’t find blood if that’s what you look for. But if you look through the periods of time, you can see the values and you can see the greatness that was taught in every time period, whether it’s Renaissance or the Medieval or the Dark Ages or the Black Ages (or whatever we want to call it).

There is always good; there is always evil, and it exists today more so than it did then. Take that which is good and build upon it and use it to empower who you are and let it create those core principles inside of you that need to be developed and nurtured.  Chivalry is one principle that every person in this room needs to build upon and start teaching to their children.

Jacob and the Fruit Bar

Excuse me for bragging about my son, but I can’t help it (not because I’m not a proud papa!)  I watched this little boy a few months ago.  We were in the Wild Oats Health Food Store and he wanted a raspberry fruit bar.  He knew where it was, so he went over and got it out of the container and came over and asked, “Daddy, can I have this?” and I said, “Son, you  have to pay for it first.”  I gave him a $5 bill and he walked to the meat counter and said, “Excuse me...(the guy was busy with a customer)...”Excuse me, excuse me, please...” and the guy didn’t pay a lick of attention to him, didn’t even acknowledge his presence.

When I saw what happened, I said, “Son, that’s not where you pay...” and Mary directed him to the cash register.  He walked up to the checkout stand there and held  up the $5.  I was standing back a way watching him and he walked up and held it up and said, “Excuse me...I need pay, I want pay...”

The young man who was behind the checkout counter thought he was going to start to cry and he said to me, “I have never seen such a courteous little boy in this store...ever.”

He took it a little step further than that.  After he exchanged the money he gave him back a couple of dollars and some change and Jacob said, “Thank you.” and he turned and came walking through the store and I stepped out where he could see me.  He came over and handed me the change and put the dollars in his pocket!  You are right!  He gets that from his Mother!

Teach Your Children Chivalry

I am spending time on this because it is an issue.  It’s an issue that we need to be aware of; it’s an issue that we need to take charge of; it’s an issue that we need to teach our children.  We need to emulate chivalry wherever we go, whatever we do.  I do most of the time, but I get caught up and get busy and preoccu-pied mentally, so sometimes I forget. It’s really been a challenge for me with the children in this respect because up until Jacob was born I don’t think there was ever a time when Mary opened a door without my assistance.  It doesn’t matter how long you are married, you should treat your sweetheart better than the day you married her.

That’s what’s called “investing into the future.”  Open the door, help your sweetheart with her coat on and off, with her shoes, rub her feet at night.  Help the little lady across the street.  That’s why I shared a little bit about the story in China where the little 120 year-old lady was walking up the stairs and I reached to take her hand and got slapped! It doesn’t matter!  But you still offer, you still take that step forward, you still do the things that are right to do, regardless of how it’s accepted and how it’s looked at. Sometimes, because of our world and the attitude it’s hard for us to remember that...particularly us guys!

Equal Rights, Curse or Blessing?

Women...I have to tell you...you are just as bad, if not worse.  Why do I say that?  Because you women want equal rights...and you are taking a space and a role where you don’t really belong in some respects.  You women are meant to be cared for by the men.  Please, please allow that.  There is a place when you can be strong and be who you are, but when there’s a man around, allow him...say, “Will you please open the door for me?”  You women are going to have to start insisting on chivalry from the men because unfortunately, you have kind of pushed it over the curve a little bit because you want to be recognized, you want to be equal. It’s a worldly thing that’s happened here, but you women have got to work with us in teaching us to be more chivalrous.  I think you get my point!

Set an Example

Is it a problem?  Will you all agree?  Will you all align with me that this is an area where there is need?  Let us, as Young Living people, set the example. As you are out there today and everyday, just try to keep that in mind.

Put a little Chivalry on to help you stay focused to that need and be conscious of it.  Little by little, it will start to catch on...and I will tell you, I’ve seen a lot of women who get very fascinated.  Just little things like holding the door open for a lady you don’t even know at church...and all of a sudden...”Oh, wow!  Thank you!”  Just like they had never experienced that before!  So these are just small things, but they are big things in our society. Teach your children to be kind; teach them to respect their elders; teach them to appreciate and give thanks and ask for acknowledgment.

Christmas Spirit for the Immune System

Christmas Spirit has in it Orange, Cinnamon Bark and Spruce.  This blend was created (and it’s really fun) because look at the limonene content...72%!  It’s a very high antiviral, high anti-carcinogen and immune stimulating compound.   Christmas Spirit is a beautiful blend for your immune system, and this is something that you could use throughout the entire year, but look at the compounds in it.  The esters which are very calming and the high phenols, which are oxygen molecules, (aldehydes and coumarins), which are very supportive to the circulatory system–but the cinnamon aldehyde in the Cinnamon oil and the eugenol is very hot, so this oil is caustic to the skin.  If you are going to wear it, you need to put it with a little  V-6 oil  when you put it on. You can put it on your feet neat...it’s okay.

It’s anti-infectious, it’s antibacterial and has a large spectrum of action against bacteria...98% against pathogenic bacterias! It’s antiviral, antifungal (particularly Aspergillus of candida), anti-toxins,  anti-parasitic, and antiseptic.  It’s a general tonic to the sexual glands...they say “aphrodisiac.”  It is not an aphrodisiac.  It will enhance sexual appetite when there is a deficiency, but it’s not going to make you become a maniac out there on the street.

Powerful Cinnamon

Cinnamon is great for the respiratory and  nervous systems. It is anti-coagulant, so if you have blood coagulation problems Cinnamon oil, and since I am touching on the anti-coagulant right now, the oil which is greater as an anti-coagulant happens to be Cistus oil.  So Cinnamon oil is very powerful in this respect.

I created Christmas Spirit because I wanted an oil blend that you could diffuse at home that would bring the spirit and the sensation and the feeling of Christmas in a more impactful way.

The Orange and the Spruce and the Cinnamon bark  are the fragrances of Christmas.  Everybody relates to Orange and everyone relates to Cinnamon sticks in their apple cider, and the smell of the Christmas trees, so these are the fragrances that we recognize as Christmas.  These are the fragrances that create the memories of happiness for children, and you need to reconnect to that, you need to be able to pass those legacies on.

Recapture Your Legacy

We aren’t sitting around the table like we used to in the older days playing checkers and telling stories of our grandparents and our great uncles and great aunts.  It’s not happening...we are not passing our legacy, our heritage on to our children.  You need to be doing that, and one way you can do it is by diffusing Christmas Spirit and then stringing popcorn on a string when you are decorating your Christmas tree...not putting up the synthetic tree that’s already decorated and you pop it out of the box and push a button and it goes “Bam! Merry Christmas!”

There is nothing like cutting a tree and dragging it over your shoulder down the mountain in 3' of snow.  Those were the good old days...but you can do some things that can brings those feelings back, and you need to teach those values to your children, pass them down.

Other Oils in Christmas Spirit

Spruce oil (as we talked about) is very grounding and it is also a powerful oil that does incredible healing for the lungs. It really empowers respiratory exchange in the lungs and it encourages deep breathing in the lungs. It is a beautiful oil blend for the physical and emotional as well.

Citrus Fresh - This is an oil blend and you look at the limonene here...90%!  We thought these were all emotional and spiritual blends, but here is an oil blend that is one of the highest that exists in antiviral activities!  A high oil in anti-carcinogen activity based on the research by Michael Gould out of the University in Wisconsin. Orange, Tangerine, Mandarin, Grape-fruit Lemon, and a touch of Spearmint.

I made this blend for another reason. One of the things we have a big problem with in our world today is that people have disconnected from the child in them, and Citrus Fresh helps you to reconnect to your inner child.  There are some things that have been practiced and some things that are criticized.  I am going to tell you something about reconnecting to the inner child.

Thumb Sucking Insights

You watch children suck their thumb or you watch children suck a binkie.  Our little boy, Jacob, sucked a binkie longer than I would have liked him to, but I kept trying to go into the space of understanding.

Why is he needing to do this?  Is it because there is an emotional thing there?  Is it creating a security feeling for him?  Is there something else going on in this little boy that he’s got to have that binkie?  This I can tell you.  Let’s experiment...do you have a clean thumb? Just take your thumb and push the bottom of your thumb against the top of your mouth.  Do it!  Hold it up there...feel where it is going.  Feel how this part of the thumb goes right up against the roof of the mouth and comes right down behind the back of the teeth.

When a child is sucking his/her thumb, do they suck it out here, or do they suck it all the way in here?  The tongue is on this side of the thumb, isn’t it?  Here’s why.  Children who suck their thumbs have not developed the inner sutures in the skull opening to create an opening for the pineal/pituitary gland.  When children put their thumb in there and suck on it and push on the roof of their mouths, it separates that suture in the roof of the mouth that stimulates the pineal/pituitary gland for more oxygen and for better mental clarity. It’s a natural instinct for a child to suck his/her thumb.  A child that sucks the binkie may be doing the same thing.

Do you want to connect to your inner child...and do you want to go back into your childhood?  Then you put a drop of Citrus Fresh on your thumb and you suck it!  I will tell you...those of you who have trouble building a business and making a contact...go down town to your big shopping mall, take out your Citrus Fresh, put it on your thumb.

After that walk backwards in the mall!  You will never have a problem making a contact ever again!  There are some neat things you can do.  Young Living affords you the greatest opportunity in the world to build a business with action and with fun!

Let’s Talk about Clarity

Clarity...we talked a little bit about Clarity. Let’s go to it really quickly.  You can see the oils here...Basil, Cardamon, Rosemary, Peppermint Rosewood, Geranium, Lemon, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Roman Chamomile, Palmorosa, and Jasmine.  What an arsenal of oils  for the brain!  It’s all brain power.

Methyl chavicol...why did I put that in there?  What did I talk about earlier?  People have brain paralysis ...we need to get the spasms out of the brain more than we need to get them out of the muscle.  Work from the head down and you will heal much faster.

The Basil allows the brain to relax because when you get stressed and have to get up here on the stage and you have to talk or perform or whatever, you are under pressure to do something. Your brain stresses, and what happens when it stresses?  The endorphins start charging and the epinephrine starts surging and all of a sudden you feel like you can’t think.  The adrenal glands are just bursting and you become paralyzed mentally.

We saw an example of that yesterday with a young man up here on the stage, didn’t we?  He just kind of froze up because he was nervous in front of a big crowd of people and he probably had not had a lot of experience.  He has a story to tell and the world needs to hear it, yet he had trouble finding a way to express it and share it because his brain froze up on him.  And yet, if he had been given Clarity to open up and relax his brain he could have stood here for a minute and gained his composure and probably talked for three hours.  I am sure he could have talked for four hours with what that young man has been through.

Increased Brain Activity with Clarity

That’s the value in Clarity.  It relaxes the brain and allows the Cardamon to go in and expand the brain.  Cardamon is very specific for the brain in stimulating the regeneration of cell activity.  The Peppermint and Rosemary together work as a stimulant for the synopsis to stimulate the firing of the neurons in the brain, so you are developing more brain cells and you are developing more capacity for memory.  It is just beautiful.

Geranium, Lemon, and Palmorosa... These are all there to enhance through the sesquiterpene activity to drive the oxygen in there while you are thinking about it. When you have to perform, just take Clarity and put it under you nose and breathe it in.  Rub it behind the ears on the occipital lobes, put it on the temples.  Get it in there and just let it do its thing.

I used to take Clarity from time to time and just put a drop on my tongue and hold it on the roof of my mouth and let that just permeate right through the pineal/pituitary and amygdula.  It opens that up and gets oxygen directly under there.  Experiment with it and see where you get the greatest response with it.  It’s phenomenal. If you are studying for a test or preparing for exams, use Brain Power and Clarity.  It doesn’t matter what it is...whether you are writing a real estate exam or whether you are writing your thesis for your PhD, Brain Power and Clarity will come to your rescue!

Experiments with Clarity

We did a project a few years ago in a little town called Sparrow Hawk, Oklahoma.  We had a school class there where we divided grade 3 in half and we put half the students in one room and half in another room.  The teacher diffused Clarity in one room and diffused nothing the other room, then she gave them an exam afterwards.  The children who were breathing the oils of Clarity diffused in the room had a 28% higher score on their test than the other children without the oil being diffused.  That is just one example.

When my older children were going to school, it was a joke.  My son, Sean, would take Clarity to school and breathe it when he was studying. He wouldn’t bother to study for his tests and yet he would always pass his exams in school. The next thing I knew his friends were coming to the house and getting Clarity so they could take it and not have to study for their exams!  It’s a beautiful, powerful oil that’s not being utilized in its total efficiency.  All of these oils here are very powerful antiseptics and antibacterial...everyone of them.

DiTone for Digestion (DiTone is now DiGize)

DiTone... High in tarragon.  Methyl chavicol is the highest percent.  Why did I create this blend this way?

Because when you have an upset stomach it goes into spasms and you’ve got to relax the stomach...it cannot secrete enzymes when it goes into a spasm.   Constipation is a spasm.  You’ve got to relax so you can have efficient release of it.  There is tarragon, look at the phenols which are high in oxygen and high in methyl chavicol. They are antispasmodic.  Coumarins are there for regulating natural blood flow.  This is very specific because when your muscles go into spasms, then the blood flow decreases and the antispasmodic activity you see here is neuromuscular, anti-inflammatory, anti-infectious, antiviral, and anti-allergenic.

This is an area when you want to make note.  Tarragon is very effective as an anti-allergenic.  Lavender is a powerful anti-allergenic and Roman Chamomile is a powerful anti-allergenic.  While we’re on this subject of anti-allergenic oils, one of the things you can do is Roman Chamomile and Lavender (half and half).  Together they become a natural antihistamine.  It is a very beautiful oil.

How DiTone Works

Ginger has the ability to break up hardened mucous and stimulate secretion of enzymes.  Peppermint is for reducing the fever in the stomach that gets created when you have the flu or something that is causing you to vomit, or you have eaten something in a food that’s a poison.

Anise Seed, Juniper, Fennel...those three together create the natural enzyme production and so they are very powerful as natural enzymes. Lemongrass is for killing bacteria and Pachouli is like a pacman in the digestive system. It literally digests unfriendly bacteria, so it is really powerful for the system.

What is happening here?  DiTone goes into the digestive system (and remember...one of the things that creates spasms in the digestive tract is a lack of oxygen to the mucosa membrane), so if you have a lack of oxygen, it means that you have a loss of blood flow, so you have to get the blood flow back into that area again. Pachouli is really great because it encourages that oxygen which brings the blood in and helps with the relaxing of that action, and then it can start stimulating the digestive enzymes again.

Dragon Time...A Throw-back to Medieval?

Dragon Time...this has been interesting and it has been kind of fun listening to the feedback I get from the women. Dragon Time is a terminology that was given to the time of the month for women back in the Dark Ages, medieval times perhaps.  It’s an age-old description for that.

Clary Sage and Fennel...here we are on the sclarea (which is your Clary Sage) and again we see the sesquiterpenes here.  All of the oils that work with hormones contain sesquiterpenes. It’s a very interesting phenomena.    Here we have the estrogen-like action, the scleral.

About Scleral

For those who did not understand the names that I chose for SclarEssence, SclaDerm and ClaraDerm, now you know where it comes from.  The scleral in Clary Sage is the compound that creates the estrogen or testosterone-mimicking action.

 It’s anti-infectious, it’s antibacterial, it’s anti-spasmodic, it’s a neurotonic, anti-diabetic, and anti-cholesterol, so it lowers cholesterol.

Clary Sage has also been referred to by some people as being esoteric (that it’s an hallucinogenic).  It is not an hallucinogenic...it increases oxygen to the brain and some people who have never had oxygen to the brain before, once they get it, think that it’s an hallucinogenic...so we get a lot of incorrect statements!

Power of Oils in Dragon Time

In Dragon Time we have Fennel and Clary Sage work together in the estrogen-like action.  Also, Fennel is very powerful in its natural hormone-balancing, and  Lavender is recognized by the Warwick University as being a powerful agent for treating PMS...(putting up with men’s stuff!)

Jasmine...again it is working on liver because the liver helps to regular the estrodial levels (as I shared with you yesterday).  That’s why Jasmine is in there...for that purpose.  Yarrow helps in balancing the testosterone for you women, so here is a complete formula for that...and another companion to your  SclarEssence and Progessence products.

What About Dream Catcher?

Dream Catcher is a companion that goes with Awaken.  We’ve talked about Dream Catcher as in Awaken, but this is the formula for Dream Catcher itself:  Sandalwood (because of the brain), Bergamot for hormonal balance, Ylang Ylang for the heart, Juniper for circulation, Blue Tansy for balancing the emotions, Tangerine for emotions, Black Pepper as a stimulant, and Anise Seed for balancing of enzymes.

Without enzymes you can’t produce or manufacture hormones that work on your emotions.  These oils are very specific together to open the brain, balance the hormones in the brain, and allow you to dream.  Also, this one is really a fun oil to work with.   At night, put it on your pillow. I like doing it when I am writing because it allows for more intuitiveness.

It’s not just about dreaming dreams, but Dream Catcher has the value to help when you are seeking intuitive feelings, and I personally enjoy Dream Catcher with Inspiration.  One of the things I have found with these two oils together is that they work synergistically in filtering out the negative thoughts we get bombarded with throughout the day.  It’s something that everyone should go to bed with because there is so much negativity being directed at us.

Benefiting from Dream Catcher

Of course, you know the energy that is afoot that wants to destroy the value and the good that Young Living does.  This helps protect you at night when you go to bed. Dream Catcher on the temples and on your

pillow.  Ladies, please understand that when you start putting Dream Catcher on your pillow you will have Dream Catcher imprints on your pillow case, so if you don’t mind it, that’s okay, or you can designate certain pillow cases for the Dream Catcher. If you want to have wild and erotic nights, SclarEssence, Lady Scleral, a little Dream Catcher, and Highest Potential could create some interesting experiences.

“Dream Catcher” is a phrase that’s used by the native American people–and other cultures also refer to Dream Catcher–but in their own language in different ways.  This is very interesting because we are talking about dream building. A lot of people talk about day dreaming and they talk about building.  If you don’t catch your dream (what does “catching it” mean?)  It means to hold it.  If you don’t hold your dream, your dream is for naught...and that’s what I created this blend for, which is symbolically that you would hold the dream after you created the dream.

Oils Prevent/Repair DNA Breakdown

Sandalwood, again going to the DNA.  Isn’t it interesting that we didn’t know until just a few weeks ago (it wasn’t documented) that these oils repair DNA and prevent DNA breakdown.  It was an intuitive thing and  five  years ago when I first taught about the transcriptase enzyme and the encoding of the DNA and the effects of the telomere and the MRNA and I presented that research at the convention, there were a lot of feelings that came out of that from professional people who literally shared and expressed through letters later that Gary had really gone off the deep end making these statements.

It is interesting now that the very things I shared five years ago about the DNA and the transcriptase enzyme and the ability of the transcribing device that we have in imprinting now has been documented. So it goes back to the Christopher Columbus thing again.  It is interesting because when you present new things and new ideas it really scares people.  They either have to do something with it or reject it, and most people choose to reject it. That’s also what happened when I presented my theory in 1989 in Denver that essential oils could correct scoliosis and that scoliosis was a virus...and now it is documented!

Acid Activates Transcriptase Enzyme

It has been kind of fun in going here and talking about transcribing and erasing, one of the things that activates the transcriptase enzyme happens to be acid, and that’s why when we have a trauma...and perhaps this will help you to understand a little bit more of where I was trying to take you in feeling sad and taking you up to exhilaration and taking you back to feeling sad, maybe moving you to where you felt angry and bringing you back to where you were laughing and back to where you are crying and back to you were feeling frustrated and back to where you wanted to go home.  All that  is in moving  emotion for two things...

erasing, erasing.

You see, when we go through a trauma, that trauma creates acid, and the acid activates the transcriptase enzyme in the DNA and that’s what creates the extra rotary rotation that inscribes the trauma memory.  The only way that you can erase that trauma memory is by reversing it to a lateral rotary rotation and changing it to alkaline to reverse the transcriptase enzyme.  It erases that memory and lets it come out.

You can only do that by going through the extremes of emotion pulling back and forth.

As time goes on, more and more of that will start to come up for you...that’s how it happens. Dream Catcher is the oil that helps you in erasing that emotion and locking onto that dream and holding it back in the DNA where it can grow and become your reality.  That whole structure is there.

As we go through this and you look at Sandalwood, knowing what it does on DNA, that it’s the number one oil in Dream Catcher–it’s very interesting.  It is a beautiful oil.

Put Dream Catcher on Your Pillow

I like putting Dream Catcher on my pillow at night.  It is fabulous!  If you want to have vivid dreams, if you want to play–just use Into the Future and Dream Catcher tonight–and make sure you take Alkalime before you go to bed because if you are in an acid state  you may have nightmares and traumas. Acid is the cause of these things.  The higher acid you have, the more angry your dreams are, and the more you go into nightmares or scary dreams or dreams of falling or crashing or death or dying.  It’s because the body is too acid.  The acid creates it, so the more alkaline you are, the more peaceful your dreams are and the more happy dreams you will have.  You’ll start having dreams of romance, to having babies, to what!!

Energy Goes to the Brain

The next blend is Energy and it contains. Rosemary, Juniper, Nutmeg, Fir, Black Pepper, Lemongrass and Clove.  It is high in limonene.  Rosemary alpha pinene (working on the brain in this blend again), camphor from the Juniper helps in its soothing action.

What are we looking here for?  We are looking for an oil that will go to the brain and to the adrenal glands. Nutmeg contains adrenal cortex-stimulating activity.  It works directly on the adrenal gland.  Can you use this oil and push the adrenal glands beyond their capacity to do what they are supposed to do?  No...you cannot.

High Acid = Low Effectiveness of Oils

This is the value, again, with essential oils...I have never seen an oil that will push the body beyond its normal position, its normal balance.  Why?  Because essential oils will only stay in the body for a maximum of 20 minutes and then they are exhausted, they are burned up by the acids in the body.  The more acidic you are, the less effect the oils will have on your body.  The more acidic you are, the more likely you are to have a reaction with the oils.  This is called an “allergic reaction” or “allergic to oils,” and I hear this all the time and I just have to bit the inside of my lip.

There is no such thing as an allergic reaction to essential oils! Listen to me...all you have an allergic reaction to are the acids in your body, and the oils are going in and hitting those acids and creating a spontaneous combustion (micro combustion) that creates an outburst on the skin.  It’s a manifestation that you are an acid person, so get the acid out of your body and you’ll never have an allergic reaction.

No Skin Reactions in Alkaline Body

Back in the days when I was first teaching Young Living, how many of you have been in seminars with me when I would treat 30 to 40 people in a single day in demonstrating Raindrop Therapy and have the oils just saturating me for the entire day?  The only side effect I had was that it took me until 4:00 in the morning to slow down!  I never had a skin outbreak from it.  If anybody would have had an allergic reaction, I should have...because I have worn, eaten, drank, and snorted more oils than all of you in the room put together!  So don’t let people try to poke that garbage down your neck.  They don’t want to take responsibility for cleaning their body and being healthy so the oils can work more efficiently.  So just keep that in mind as you deal with people out there claiming to have allergic reactions.  There is an exception to all the rules, how-ever, and the rule is if somebody claims they had an allergic reaction, the first question you ask is, “Are you using Young Living essential oils?”  If they say no, then you can say...”That’s why.”  Because 99% of the oils in America out there are either cut, synthetic, adulterated,  or fractionated.

Power in Energy

Rosemary, Nutmeg and Juniper, Black Pepper and Fir are very specific in supporting adrenal gland function and thyroid function together, and so they work really well in raising the energy level.  When Mary was laboring in the hospital the doctors could not believe their eyes when I would take the Energy oil and just rub it right up her spine when she was just at the point of exhaustion and it was just like she came back after eight hours of sleep...it was most remarkable.  It is a powerful oil...great for truck drivers.  Again, as you can see from the Clove and the Lemongrass (which is very high in limonene), it is a very powerful oil bacterially as well.

Be Visionary with Envision

Envision.  This is one where people have trouble envisioning things, or seeing themselves being successful, seeing themselves building a successful business.  Envision helps to open the brain and helps you to day dream. Sage and Spruce are two oils here for opening the brain and the heart chakra (or energy center) because  when that’s closed down you cannot have vision.  You have to have the brain and the heart connected in order to have vision.  Sage and Spruce open that up so it can happen.  Sage and Spruce are also extremely good for respiratory exchange or oxygen.

If you are not breathing from the diaphragm (pulling that oxygen down into the gut) then you are not going to have the oxygen to empower that vision and start seeing it where you can pull it into the brain and into the cerebral cortex and cross over that neuro cortex barrier and get into the mitochondria of the cells and into the DNA. It’s not going to happen unless you go to that level.

Rose for Happiness

The Rose moves you into the space of being happy. Nobody is going to see good visions if they are angry.  If you want to be happy and want to feel a sense of peace and balance, that is what Rose oil will do for you.

Rose oxide...hydrocarbons, esters (very calming).

Rose contains its own phenols which are very stimulating for oxygen.  You can see the phenols there and the methyl esters.  These compounds all contain oxygen molecules.  It is very important to understand that the more oxygen you can take into your body, the more balance you are going to have.  It’s the general tonic of the nervous system.

It says here that  Rose oil is an aphrodisiac.  I can tell you that Rose oil can be an absolute birth control formula because if you ladies would just go and buy three or four bottles of Rose oil for your husband, it would definitely be a birth control formula...it would not be an aphrodisiac!

Cicatrizan...Rose oil is very powerful for getting rid of scar tissue and stimulating the healing of new tissue and tissue regeneration.  It is extremely important.  It is anti-infectious as well and is used for bronchitis and chronic asthma conditions (tuberculosis, dermatitis, plaque, ulcers). Rose is a beautiful oil. It is very expensive because it is very hard to obtain.  It takes 5,000 pounds of Rose leaves to make one pound of oil!

Orange oil...again, for the happiness and Lavender for the balance.  Envision is a beautiful to rub under your nose.  If you are sitting down and thinking...”I need to create a master plan for a strategic business building workshop...” that’s what all you leaders are going to be doing out there.  Everyone of you, use Envision and use it with Motivation to take you beyond the realms of limitation that we get stuck in...it is really wonderful!

Without Vision People Perish

Envision is a place where we have a lot of struggle at times in our life.  When you get down and depressed, you get anxiety buildup, frustration, and anger, then vision is gone.  There is a beautiful passage in the Bible paraphrased as “my people without vision will perish.” If we don’t have vision, what are the reasons that are evolving in our lives.  What’s going on at the moment that has taken the vision away?

Envision will be an oil that you might choose to experiment with to open you up.  I like Envision right here on my forehead which people refer to as the “third eye” or the “mind’s eye” or the “pineal point” or the center of your forehead.  It doesn’t matter what you call it, just rub it on there and when you are doing that, have the oil in your hand and as you are rubbing it this way (clockwise) you are breathing it from the palm.  Just go very gentle clockwise...it’s really important.  Up on the right and around and down on the left...the flow of the colon is your body clock.

Remarkable Experiences with Envision

Just rub and breathe and if you haven’t experienced this yet, you will feel the tissue start to warm and then you will feel this sense of energy coming right through the forehead.  As you continue to do it very gently and breathing in your quiet space, then all of a sudden things will start illuminating in your mind...pictures, images that you haven’t seen before. It is just absolutely remarkable!

Use these tools (and this is what it is about) as you are doing this...and perhaps you put Awaken on, and now you go with Envision and you just breathe and rub and then you start seeing your business, you start seeing yourself as a Crown Diamond or as an Ambassador or a Silver Star or a Gold...whatever the next step you want to move up to.  Just start seeing that and letting it evolve in your mind and it will just turn into brilliant images, and then you are going to feel the juices start flowing up inside of you, and you are going to start getting butterflies and the juices will flow so much that they will just spill out right here. It is going to be an amazing thing...so try that and see if you don’t experience these things.  You’ll find it very exciting.

Exodus for Fighting Bacteria/Viruses

Exodus II is an oil blend that I have tremendous fun working with.  Its combined components are aldehyde 33% (which is antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and antiparasitic) so it is a very powerful oil for any type of foreign bacteria or virus found in your body.  It can be used in the Raindrop application along the spine, which is extremely powerful.  You can put it in capsules and take it internally as a supplement.  One drop under the tongue can be absorbed and massaged into the buccal cavity and in the microscopic blood capillaries in the cheek. Get it into the brain if you have a sense of brain fatigue or brain fog...get it in there.  It’s very important.

Cinnamon and CassiaCassia is a cousin to the Cinnamon.  It smells almost like it and has a very similar structure and nature, but some different benefits as well. Myrrh for the anti-inflammatory action and the immune stimulating action, with the sesquiterpenes and limonene, Hyssop for the lungs and the respiratory.  It is a very powerful oil for respiratory allergies and viruses.

Frankincense and Spikenard, the immune modulators,  Galbanum, the oil of Moses...the balm of Gilead, the oil that is very powerful for protecting against evil deities (which is what disease is known to be).  This blend of oils was taken directly out of the Book of Exodus...it was the oils used by Moses in creating the formula he gave the Israelites and is very powerful.

Forgiveness...A Powerful Blend

Forgiveness...Frankincense, Sandalwood, Lavender, Melissa...and as you can see here again, all the high oils. Angelica, by the way, is equally there in high sesquiterpene activity, stimulating the brain. When  we feel anger, we feel resentment and we hold onto old issues that we want to beat ourselves up over whatever reasons we choose.  They are all learning curves, but we go through it and we all deal with it every day of our lives and we feel we’ve been done wrong by, we’ve transgressed,  we’ve  been  lied  to,  we  have been cheated, whatever...it goes on in life. We harbor those things and they eat us alive literally. You’ve been there and you’ve heard enough about that to know what I’m saying.  Rose oil to stimulate bringing that peace in.        Rose, Rosewood, and Geranium...these three work in harmony together to enhance that higher frequency of happiness...to bring happiness.  There is no point in having forgiveness if forgiveness doesn’t bring happiness with it. That’s the whole thing is letting that release.

The Palmorosa, Ylang Ylang, and Bergomot...use these three directly on the heart so the heart can feel at peace and relax.  The heart can feel the release of letting this energy and this emotion go.  Roman Chamomile and Jasmine working back on the liver so it can be released and can be dumped out through the bladder, through the bile into the liver and the liver through into the colon so it can be deposited and you can literally just “poop” away your anger.

Working with Forgiveness

The place to put Forgiveness is right around your umbilical cord, and you do it at night.  Just rub it on there. There will be times when you will get so mad you just won’t feel like it and you might find that it will be all you can do just to get the lid off and put it on your hands and inhale it...then you can put it on your belly button.  Wherever you feel directed to put it, just do it.  Let your intuition drive you.

Forgiveness is probably one of the biggest issues we have on our lives and it is probably the one that is the most difficult for all of us to deal with. Why? Because it is not something that you see.  We are creatures of habit and we like to hold onto stuff.  We like to use it to beat ourselves up, we like to be martyrs and we feel there is something valiant in carrying the garbage around and rehearsing it over and over.  A whole lot of it gives us attention, gives us recognition, and we need recognition more than we need anything else in our lives.  So we hold onto those things and that keep us in limitation, it keeps us from expanding, it keeps us from reaching forward and doing greater things.

Forgiveness around the naval.  There have been times when you get really angry over something and you might say, “Right...sure, I am just going to open up my shirt right here and I am just going to rub Forgiveness on.”  When you are in a space like that and are really upset or really angry, just put it in your hand and inhale it over and over...and gradually you will mellow out!  You will be in that space sometime, so use it to move yourself, use it to flow with it, and use it as a tool to take you where you want to be ultimately...in the space of childlike forgiveness.

I watch my little son, Jacob.  He’s got a little bit of his mother’s temperament–(I know it’s come from her because I didn’t lose any of mine!)

He gets really upset over something and he gets into his space of just being angry.  He’ll start to cry, but just like that (snap of the finger) it can be gone...totally gone.  I look at that and I think, “Wow! That’s the way it should be for all of us...that childlike forgiveness of being able to just let go of it immediately...and it’s not an issue.” So Forgiveness will really help move you there.

A Singular Experience

Gathering.  Galbanum again.  I had a most remark-able experience many years ago while I was studying at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.  Some of you have heard me share this...and I will go over it very quickly again. In 1993 I received a fax and to this day I don’t know who sent it.  It was a typed fax and it said, “D. Young. You may find this of interest...that which has been discovered and removed from the twin caves west of Jericho.  In the excavation we found three large vases full of scrolls and a little container that had oils in it.  They are at the Hebrew University if you have an interest in them.” That’s all it was...just a fax...and to this day I know not where it came from.

One week later I was in Jerusalem.  I had the opportunity to go there–and I won’t take the time to share all of it with you today–because of the shortness of time, but during that time period they were having all the Palestinians and the Israelites and the fighting and the warring, and the borders were closed...and there were Army tankers in the streets and there were bombs going off. It was a horrible time. I had a guard at one of the gates at a government facility who pulled a machine gun on me when I went  to get the permit to get into the Hebrew University.  It was a strange feeling, but I was there and all I knew was I had received this fax and I had to go.

Amazing Find in Hebrew University

I went to the Embassy there and was given a permit and a pass to go into the Hebrew University, and was allowed to go into the Archeology Department and the archives on the third floor down in the Research Center and I was allowed to see these large vases the scrolls were in. I was allowed to see a scroll that they had started translating...and I just kept going back and asking myself...”What is happening here, why am I here?  Why am I seeing this, why am I the one who’s being allowed to see this?”

I got to see the little terra cotta container that I could hold in my hand and it had a little terra cotta stopper in it and it had a leather thong around the neck of it.  To this day the people who worked on the translation committee believe that was the little container that Christ carried on himself that he used during his administering work. I can’t refute that...and I’m not going to.  I’m just telling you what was shared with me. The translating committee had a lot of reasons, and they shared some of that with me.

Spared by Spiritual Prompting

When those caves were opened they found five alabaster jars.  Why was that fascinating to me? Because I was in Egypt the year before during the war when they did all the bombing of the buses. I was there at Ramses Square when they blew up the buses and 116 people were killed....and I should have been, and wasn’t, because I was standing there where the buses were and was going to go into the museum when the Spirit spoke to me, “Gary, go across the street and go to into the University Library and do some studying.”

I turned and walked across the street when the bombs blew those buses up. I had a foot and a shoe land three feet from me in the street, and then the military came in behind that bombing and the machine guns were going and glass was shattering and bullets were bouncing off the walls and I dove down behind a little out-cropping of the wall there on the one building where it was like an adjunct for a stairwell going down into the basement and hid down behind that to keep from being mowed down with a machine gun. I was there three days before anyone knew whether I was alive or dead.

I went from there after that was over and I was given the opportunity by a pass from the Antiquities Minister in Egypt to go to upper Egypt.  I was in the Temple at Edfu and an old-timer was there who was working as a guard. He came up to me and said, “You speak English?”  I said, “Yes...”

“Why you here?”  “I’m here to study about essential oils.”  “No, that’s not why you’re here.”

The story of exchange went on and he said, “I tell you why you’re here.  You are here to learn about the man who came here many years ago that you call Christ.”  The hair stood up on the back of my neck.  He went on and told me a great story that I will have to share sometime later.

In order to cut this short so you will understand where I am going here...he said, “Christ was here five times.  He took his training here to become a priest.  When he left here he went through  a graduate ceremony (and he had other words he used to describe it). When he left here he was given five alabaster jars as his parting gift to take these oils back to his country and use them in his ministry.”     Those things are not written in the Bible. We can ask why, but I can’t answer.

Evidence of Christ in Egypt

The first time I went abroad my Mother wrote and told all my family that...”Gary had been to Europe,” but I went 100 times after that and she never wrote another letter about it.  The first time you go it’s a big thing, but if you go back and second and third time it’s not a big deal.  I don’t know if that’s what happened with Christ. I can’t tell you. All I know that these people’s history (their records) show that Christ was in Egypt five times.  He studied at the Edfu Temple, which was the temple of the priests, and that’s where they went to learn priest craft, and when he went away he left with five alabaster jars that were described to me in detail and the oils that were in those jars.

I was standing in the Archeology Department looking at those five containers!  There was something there that is so big we don’t understand...and in those scrolls was this statement translated into English, and it was under glass: “He shall know his children by their scent.”

“By His Scent...”

When I took Mary back to Israel I wanted so much for her to see that...and it was gone from the exhibit they had there.  I called the Archeology Department and asked them where it was, and they said, “We had to take it and put it back in the archives because it was deteriorating.”  I said, “Can you tell my wife that it truly did exist?”  They told her...”Yes, it existed...” And it does to this day.

“He shall know his children by their scent.”  I don’t know what that means...I can only tell you what it feels like to me...there is going to be a time somewhere, some place, and I believe his people who are wearing his oils who have lived the way they should may be the ones that will be chosen to stand and come forth as the army to battle the adversary.  That is just a personal feeling.

Replicating the Scent...

I wanted to create a blend of oils that would be that scent.  I wanted to create a blend of oils that would bring a body of people together in purpose and in vision, and I worked on it for years and it just didn’t come together.

It was somewhere around the third or fourth trip to Israel and we were at 38,000 feet.  I was working again on the formula and feeling like it just wasn’t coming together when this little voice said, “Galbanum shall be your oil.”  And I made this blend with Galbanum, Frankincense, Sandalwood, Lavender, Cinnamon, Rose, Spruce, Geranium, and Ylang Ylang. I called it Gathering...gathering your conscious and your spiritual thoughts and bringing them into a single focus.

Feel the Empowerment

This blend is so powerful to help you emotionally gather yourself, physically gather yourself, spiritually gather yourself and be there to become “one” in the presence of our Father and Creator.   If you feel fractured, if you feel scattered, if you feel fragmented, if you feel like you just can’t deal with life anymore...you grab Gathering and you put it on and it is going to feel like someone just put a big hand around you and brought you altogether like a piece of clay and molded you into one molecule.

You are going to feel such an empowerment of the spirit that if you don’t shed tears, I will eat the wrapper on the bottle!  It will be something for you to behold if you are in that space to behold it.  This is one of my chosen blends because of what it has, can, and will do.   Anytime that you have been in a space of great compromise with other people this blend of Gathering is one to keep you centered and focused on what you chose to do in life.  You want to step up out of the ashes, you want to get up out of the rut that you’ve been in, you want to become the person  you desire and feel you’d like to be?  Then you take Gathering and put it with Inspiration and Highest Potential and you are going to have an experience that will be life-changing!

There are so many things I have learned from the Gathering oil.  I wear it a lot just as an aftershave...I love it so much and the feeling that it creates.  When you are into your meditation it is so easy to get the mind fractured (and I did this with you yesterday if you remember)...put it on your right temple and come across to the left temple.

Using Galbanum to Integrate

You’ve heard this saying...”Right-minded people, left-minded people...you’ve got to be in your right mind to be creative.  Scientists, etc. have to be in their left mind...” whatever that all means. I don’t really know, but I know that we are all individuals and we all spend different parts of time in different parts of our brain and sometimes some of us are more analytical than others, and some are more realistic than others.

If you feel that you are not in a creative mode, then start with Galbanum, rubbing it on the left temple clockwise three times and then come across to the right side of the temple and rub it three times.  What this does energetic-wise is to help in integrating the left brain with the right brain.  If you are in your right brain and you are feeling so creative that you can’t balance your checkbook, then put it on the right temple and go three times and then bring it across to the left side because you are bringing the energy of the right brain and integrating it with the left brain and creating that balance...and then go three times on the left temple.  You can repeat that as many times as you desire.

Become One with the Universe

Part of what I have discovered with Gathering wasn’t so much about what I saw and learned at the University that created this feeling, this awakening inside of me and this desire to create the Gathering, but it was more about gathering our own thoughts to help us focus and to help us become one with the universe and God, our Creator.  So that is really where it wound up taking me personally...and what it can do for us as a personal individual.

It’s so easy to get fractured.  Your thoughts are going in all directions and you are having trouble focusing, and anytime you feel that way, then Gathering is there to help you focus.  Gathering is a very great companion to Envision, so work with those two together.  Highest Potential with Envision and Gathering and Motivation comes in there and fits at the back just as the Clarity is coming in and the Envision is coming in.

If you feel yourself tripping up and you are into meditation and you are trying to create the image of what you want to see as your future, and these little voices keep coming, just put a little Clarity on to filter the information that is trying to get in.

Gentle as a Baby

Gentle Baby.  Oh, how gentle is the baby!  There are the oils...see the top one and percentage of linole (which is the antibacterial).  Geraneiol linole acetate is a real fragrant molecule, but it also is a tissue-regenerating molecule and citronellol is also very antiseptic, limonene for the immune system.  These oils are very special.

I made Gentle Baby  for children...an oil blend that can be put on their skin.  For new babies, dilute it in a little V-6 oil.  People who have used Gentle Baby before conceiving or shortly afterwards and have kept it applied to their tummies have never had stretch marks.  The other one that works with that is Tender Tush.  I made Tender Tush for Mary...back then I called it “Baby Blue” and Mary says she has no stretch marks!  This oil also will alleviate scar tissue where there are old stretch marks and old scars from surgery or accidents. It’s fabulous for getting rid of old scar tissue.  It is one of the most beautiful oils for an aftershave for skin that you can put on.

Values in Geranium

Monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes...the high oxygenating activity there of Geranium.  It’s linelol, it’s a beautiful oil and Geranium is also beneficial for children with insufficient liver growth and activity.  Parasites, intestinal ketosis, colitis, ulcerations and dermatosis, fungus, rheumatism, osteoarthritis–it’s good for the lymphatic system...so a lot of value there in Geranium because if the liver is toxic then you are going to have all kinds of eruptions and rashes and pimples and acne...anything that is abnormal on the skin is coming from the liver...so the more of the liver cleansing you do, the more of the liver oils, the greater skin you are going to have.

Gentle Baby is a beautiful oil to work from the topical service inward while you are working from the inside outward.  There is no specific location for Gentle Baby...wherever you feel a need for skin treatment, use it.  It can be put in V-6 to use as a complete body massage...it’s beautiful for that; it’s beautiful for newborn babies’ skin as long as it’s put in the V-6 and diluted.

Let’s Have Gratitude

Gratitude is another combination using Idaho Balsam and Frankincense because I felt so strong about the gratitude that I have.

My gratitude is for Him whom I regard as the greatest person who has ever walked the face of this earth, and I felt that these are two oils  need to be in this blend to express that feeling and that emotion.  Of course, Myrrh is the third one of the trio that was used by Christ himself.  I have added the Rosewood and the Galbanum to gather those feelings and focus it in Gratitude.

One of the really painful things I see throughout the world today is the lack of gratitude.  Even when we are down and out and things are not working the way we think they should be working, we should still express gratitude.

Pray with Gratitude

I had an interesting experience a year or so ago in a little function where I was asked to teach a class, so I wanted to set the class up to present what I was talking about, which was gratitude.  It was with my church group and I asked that someone give a little prayer and I requested that the person giving the prayer  not ask for one single thing...and the person couldn’t do it.

He went through the prayer and before he got half way through he was asking for this and asking for that.  After it was over with, I brought it up and his face went red and he came to me later and said, “But Gary, I don’t know how to pray without asking.” It was really evident.  Folks, God knows what your needs are...you don’t have to ask.  All you have to do is express appreciation for that which you already have.  When you ask, it’s like telling God He doesn’t know what your needs are, so in other words, you don’t believe He has the ability to know.

Oils for Balancing

Myrrh, Galbanum, Ylang Ylang...balancing again and supporting the heart to be able to express this feeling of gratefulness for what you have. Even if your health is not good (and this is where people go sideways), but “look at me...I’ve got arthritis, I’ve got cancer...how can I be grateful?”  Believe me, if you look hard enough outside you can see someone who’s worse off than you. You always have something to be grateful for, even if it is the last breath of air that you are going to draw in this life.  You can be grateful that it is your last breath and you are going to soon be on the other side.  The position you take on the other side, you may not be so grateful for...I don’t know.

On Being Grounded

Grounding.  Juniper, Angelica.   I choose Juniper because it was used by the native American people to be the tree, the bush, and the plant that represents grounding and anchoring.  Angelica is a root that grows in the earth.  Its attributes, its signature is for grounding.  It has that musky, woody fragrance that anchors you to Mother Earth.

Ylang Ylang for balancing the heart and hormones, Cedarwood for opening the brain, Pine and Spruce for opening the lungs and Fir for strengthening the chi of the spine.  So Grounding brings you right into a center core just like the trunk of a tree and plants you right in the ground where you’re not feeling like you are going to be flying off the planet.

Grounding is really important to use when you are going through situations like a divorce, a separation, the loss of a loved one...a child, a spouse.  Wherever there is tremendous separation taking place, Grounding really comes and holds you in a place and anchors you there.  When you get into the metaphysical things in life and you are out there flying in the cosmos, put a little bit of Grounding on so you don’t forget where you came from.   You might miss your landing strip coming back!

Grounding has Many Uses

It’s a beautiful oil blend to wear as a fragrance oil or perfume or aftershave as well. I made this blend years ago for some of my patients because when people get really sick and have been through horrible experiences in life–gone through a bad divorce, maybe lost a child or loved one–the space you go into is wanting to leave.  I could be wrong (and I always leave myself in a space to be wrong because I have nothing to fear).  If someone comes along and proves to me that what I have believed is wrong I want to be in a space to accept it so I am not stuck there.  I don’t want to be spending my time believing something that’s wrong.  So I look at that.

I don’t believe personally that it’s our choice to leave...and yet there are many times when we feel that we want to leave...and I am sure there are many of you who have been in that space from time to time.  I made Grounding for people who were in that space so it would anchor them and hold them on the planet until they were able to get through the issues they were working with.

Grounding goes on the solar plexus and the base of the neck.  When you are meditating some of you might have felt like you were leaving or ascending, and part of that is the conscious mind trying to take you into escape because the conscious mind doesn’t want the sub-conscious mind to reveal what’s going on...it wants to stay in control, so the conscious mind will try to shut it down by causing you to fall asleep. We don’t want to go there, so Grounding will hold you there and keep you in the moment so you are not escaping.

There are many other times when you can use that for grounding.  When you get angry it is not a time to escape...don’t use anger to escape with. Grounding can help you get through the time of anger.  Let’s say you’ve had a bad business experience and you’re in bankruptcy and you are feeling like you are shattered and fractured.  Grounding helps bring you back into that center focus and anchors you there where you need to be and need to stay, so there are multiple applications for Grounding. It’s also good for balancing and creating a sense of balance.

Many Oils in Harmony

Harmony.  This oil blend has an arsenal of oils...Hyssop for the lungs, Spruce for the solar plexus and the respiratory, Lavender for the skin, Frank-incense for the brain, Geranium for the liver, Ylang Ylang for the heart, Orange for happiness, Sandalwood for the brain and balance, Angelica for grounding, Clary Sage for hormones and solar plexus and pelvic chakra, Rose and Rosewood for heart chakra, Lemon for bacteria and for lymphatics, Palmorosa for lymphatics, Bergamot for hormones, Roman Chamomile for liver.

I went through and looked for all the oils that were needed specifically to affect every chakra in the body, to open them, to detoxify  them, and to cleanse them...

and that’s what you have in Harmony.  It is a very beautiful oil.  Put one drop on each energy point...or some people call them chakras, and some people call them energy meridians...it doesn’t matter what philosophy you come from, it’s the same.  Energy is energy...the names that different people give it don’t change the energy.  Whatever you associate with, it’s okay.  Put it on.

I use Harmony before doing a Raindrop and it is amazing how much quicker that person will respond.  In the old days I used to teach it more because I had more time.

Using Harmony with Raindrop Therapy

Harmony first, Valor second, and then go to the Raindrop and it opens up those energy centers so the energy force follows through very efficiently.  It’s really great.   In the old days where I was doing the frequency testing, we found that we could put a drop of Harmony on the solar plexus, check the frequency, and the frequency would go up anywhere from 10 to 20 hertz.  I could take the drop of oil and drop it on the blanket on the massage table within a foot of the person and the frequency would modulate exactly the same, whether it was touching them or one foot away from them.  As long as it was within their energy field it would modulate those frequencies exactly the same.

It’s a remarkable blend of oils and one that we all need to utilize.  I do a lot of taking Harmony and rubbing it on the third eye (or the brain chakra) right on the forehead and it creates a balancing, harmonic frequency to the brain and you don’t have to put it on every spot of your body every moment.

I rub it right here on the throat chakra and it’s really good.  If you have a little phlegm and you have to get up and give a presentation and you feel a little nervousness and it creates a little phlegm in your throat, just rub a drop of Harmony right there on the throat chakra and in seconds that phlegm will be gone and the throat will open and you will be able to give a dissertation for six hours!  Do you wonder what my secrets are for getting up here and talking without shutting up?  Now you know!

Two-phase Blend

Harmony is the only blend that I have created in two phases.  We mixed first Hyssop, Spruce, Lavender, Frankincense, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Orange.  That goes in one container and then it’s chilled.  Then Sandalwood, Angelica, Sage, Rose, Rosewood, Lemon, Palmorosa, Bergamot, Roman Chamomile and Jasmine is mixed in a second container and each chilled for 24 hours...and then the two blends are mixed together.  I did that to create the harmonics for Harmony and it has been a spectacular blend, a beauti-ful one to wear as a cologne, as a perfume, or an after-shave. When you are in your meditation state, just put one drop on each one of the energy centers of the body.  If you are working with somebody on a table and they have clothing on, you don’t want to drip the oil on their clothing, you can put it on the table beside them on each side.  The frequency will create the same balance.   You can even use it on the feet like Valor.  You can put it on the top or the shoulders like Valor, or just to balance the energy in those body meridians.  As you noticed yesterday, as soon as Valor went on and we did Harmony to balance the energy centers.  If you are out of balance then you are not going to be able to release of the emotion because emotions get tied into tissues and into organs.  For instance,  anger is really anchored in the liver and so you really want to open up those energy centers to release it.  Harmony helps to create that frequency balance so that energy will move through the body.  It is a beautiful oil blend.

Go for the Potential!

Highest Potential.  Do you like this oil blend?  There is hardly a day that I do not wear Highest Potential. It has the Australian Blue Cypress, Gathering, Jasmine, and Ylang Ylang...what a combination!  You can bring your energy into a center focus when the heart is in balance (because that heart is such a big issue). Ylang Ylang is really specific for heart, the Jasmine for the liver, Gathering for the core...bringing it all into a central focus.  The Australian Blue Cypress just adds a dimension that we don’t even totally understand yet...it works on the brain...it is very specific to the brain and incidentally, the Australian Blue Cypress is also being reported now in Australia to be very cancer-specific.

Merits of Australian Blue Cypress

There is a lot of research being done on it now that is not even published.  I just met with a gentleman a few weeks ago on Australian Blue Cypress who is one of the first producers of it and now he has moved into the field of research and study.  He said they are taking people with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s and bathing them in the floral water of Blue Cypress and within six weeks they don’t have Alzheimer’s!   haven’t seen the documentation yet, so right now it’s hearsay, but it might be something you might want to give some thought to in looking at Blue Cypress for some of these things. He did show me some documentation on lymphoma with Australian Blue that is amazing.  I can tell you that it works very specific in the brain because of the sesquiterpenes and that combination is really fabulous in bringing you to that point.

This may be a coincidence, but when I went to the World Tournament last year in London, Ontario for the jousting championships I wore Highest Potential.

I took second place in the skilled armed games and missed the first place by one point, and placed fifth in the world!  At that time I had only had two weeks of training and two weeks of practice, so it might have something to do with it!

Highest Potential is a blend that if you use it with Envision, with Dream Catcher, and with Awaken, it starts creating that feeling inside of you that nothing is limited, that you have ultimate potential.  That was the whole concept in creating this blend, to move you to your highest potential.

Awakening the Hormone

We start there by first stimulating the feeling inside, so Highest Potential is there to awaken the desire. Part of the awakening is awakening the hormones and stimulating the adrenal glands.  Ylang Ylang is very powerful in doing that, but in order to reach your highest potential, you’ve got to have your thoughts absolutely focused and dialed in.  You have to know where you are going and you cannot have distractions coming from the outside attacking you. It’s just like a horse with blinders on...he sees nothing else, and that’s where Highest Potential really starts evolving you up,  bringing the mind into focus and into gathering.

The Australian Blue Cypress gives more of a sense, more of  knowing...but there is something “magical”...I have no other words to describe it.  It creates almost a magical feeling...that Blue Cypress oil and the blend in Australian Blue.

When I was creating this blend, it just had to be there for the balance and for the opening. It has a phenomenal ability.  The Blue Cypress is so interesting in its ability to modulate the immune system and in Australia they are doing some research right now on Blue Cypress for treating various types of cancer.  I met with a gentleman from south of Brisbane in Toronto last spring and he shared some research from the University of Sydney where they are doing  studies on the Blue Cypress on cancer...it’s just starting,, but it’s showing great evidence in modulating the immune system and stimulating pituitary function.

Cedarwood is very grounding and anchoring to all the chakras and the native American Indian people used it, not only for anchoring, but for opening the respira-tory tract, for improving oxygen exchange when they are in their vision quest.  Blue Tansy is a balancer of the adrenal gland, as is White Fir and again, it anchors the core chakra (or solar plexus)

Using Highest Potential

Those oils are really powerful...and that is the combination that we find in Highest Potential. How should you use Highest Potential?  However you like!  I’ll tell you a little secret...what it creates inside of me (and maybe it will be different for everyone, and probably is), but when I breathe it and I feel it, it’s just like I can see myself there.  I can see myself winning, I can see myself achieving the highest potential that I mentally can visualize.

Do we know what ultimate success is?  No...because we are not there, but so do we know what our highest potential is? No, we really don’t because it evolves as we evolve.  What we do is visualize what we think and what we can see as our highest potential at the moment.  When we get there, we can look over the top of the hill and see further and realize we can still lift the bar.  So experiment with it, play with it, and have fun!
